Personal Assistants to the President (PRP)

The personal assistants to the president are responsible for the following:

Conception and research

  • Assisting and supporting the President in all matters of university governance
  • Researching topics relating to higher education and science policy
  • Planning and organizing strategic projects

Schedule and event management

  • Support the President when he is attending to obligations in the region, throughout Germany, and abroad
  • Organizational support for the Univerein e.V. and Board of Trustees
  • Conceptual preparation and follow-up and preparing content for internal and external appointments
  • Drafting letters, speeches, and presentations
  • Organizing events and conferences at the special request of the President

Communication and networking

  • Acting as a liaison between the University Governing Board, central service units, staff units, university administration, and the faculties.
  • Networking on and off campus
