Sport, Business and Law, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
Sport is a factor of growing importance in the economy and society. University graduates with versatile qualifications are needed in numerous professional fields associated with sport. Specialist skills in business administration and sports science are just as much in demand here as advanced organisational skills, a good feel for legal problems, and personal experience with various sports. For this set of requirements, the University of Bayreuth has developed the interdisciplinary bachelor's programme "Sport, Business & Law".
For me, sport is so much more than just exercise: sport brings people from different cultural backgrounds together, sport means passion and gives strength, sport creates space for discourse, sport unites society. Because these values are of great importance to me and I wanted to become part of this unique world, I decided to study Sport, Business & Law at the University of Bayreuth. As one of the first selected for the double degree programme with Ohio University, I also have the opportunity to understand sports management in an international context.
