Literature & Media, Master of Arts (M.A.)

Our society and its culture are strongly influenced by the media. They influence our perception, our language, and literature. In the age of technical media, texts have evolved into digital media. As the boundaries between literature and media studies become increasingly blurred, the call for interdisciplinary skills grows all the louder. The interdisciplinary degree programme "Literature & Media" teaches you exactly these skills. They deal with both subject areas in detail and their reciprocity. You will also examine the relationship of literature to other media. All the while, the manifold forms of intermedial exchange are an essential part of your studies.

Platzhalterbild Person
The 'Literature and Media' degree programme offers many opportunities to organise your studies individually and to choose courses from a wide range of disciplines. Due to the small size of the programme, the relationship with the lecturers is more personal and you do not feel like one among many.
