The University of Bayreuth's Academic Year Celebration not only marks the end of another successful academic year, but also provides an opportunity to reflect on how the constant pursuit of knowledge and education can help to effectively address the global challenges of our time.
In addition, the University's birthday also provides an opportunity to celebrate academic successes and gain new impetus. Barbara Frenkel (Head of Purchasing at Porsche AG) will address "The future and transformation of the German automotive industry: the road to electric transformation" in her keynote speech.
The Annual Academic Celebration will be accompanied by music from an ensemble of the award-winning university choir and will end with a reception at which the topic of the keynote speech can also be discussed. In order to be able to plan better, please register by 14 November 2023 at the latest.
