University of Bayreuth, Press Release No. 011/2021, 21 January 2021

Digital for the first time: University Information Day on 6 February 2021

This year, the University of Bayreuth’s Information Day will take place in digital form for the first time. On Saturday, 6 February 2021, prospective students will be able to find out about the study programmes offered at the University of Bayreuth via live events and videos over an entire day. All programme items will be easily and conveniently accessible from home – without prior registration or activation!

This year’s University Information Day begins at 10 a.m. with a webinar by the Student Advising Office including lots of tips on studying in Bayreuth. Numerous departments will then offer exciting insights into their degree programmes. Live conferences are scheduled to present study programmes and offer intriguing sample lectures. Meanwhile, chats will offer the opportunity to make direct contact and ask questions. Students will report on their experiences at the University of Bayreuth and get into conversation with you.

And the international aspects haven’t been forgotten either. There will be a special question and answer session for prospective foreign students; and an information film on studying abroad will also be available. Throughout the day, staff from the Student Advising Office will be available at a digital info-point to answer any questions about studying in Bayreuth.
