PhD Candidate (m/f/d) in the field of 'Coordination Cages as Photoactive Materials'
The position is temporary limited (initially for 3 years) and will be paid according to German public-sector level TV-L E 13 (50%). The aim of the project is the synthesis of heteroleptic coordination cages with photoactive ligands in the cage scaffold.
Your profile:
You have an above-average university degree (MSc or equivalent) in Chemistry or strongly related fields and already experience in coordination and/or supramolecular chemistry. Preferably, you have furthermore experimental experience in the synthesis of organic ligands and/or photophysical or photochemical characterisation of materials. You are characterized by a high degree of motivation, scientific interest and the ability to work independently in a structured manner. Very good knowledge of German and/or English (written and spoken) is required.
