The University of Bayreuth is one of the best universities for law

"Bayreuth character" has been a hallmark for graduates for generations - also among HR managers. What our alumni confirm has now once again been substantiated by a survey. The employer branding consultancy Universum asked 483 HR managers for WirtschaftsWoche which universities they recruit law graduates from. A good quarter of the HR decision-makers worked in companies with more than 1000 employees, the majority (a good 30 percent) in companies with 100 to 500 employees. 

The University of Bayreuth performed very well in this survey, ranking sixth in Germany. 

Students who study law in Bayreuth have access to the traditional legal professions of the bar, the public prosecutor's office, administration, the judiciary or the notary's office. There are also career opportunities in large and medium-sized commercial enterprises, tax consultancies and auditing firms. Governmental, commercial and non-profit organizations, both national and international, or political parties are also possible employers. 

Thanks to the (additional) skills and content typically taught in Bayreuth without silo thinking, a lateral entry into almost all areas of business life and politics is also possible: the additional business and technical science courses are unique here, with which students at the University of Bayreuth can sharpen their legal profile in the long term. The Bayreuth additional qualification with the degree "Business Lawyer (University of Bayreuth)" is unique in Germany.
