The excellent results of the ranking are based on a CHE survey of Bayreuth Master's students in the subjects of business administration, economics and industrial engineering. Together with facts about the courses on offer, the ratings provide an overview of the actual conditions in the degree program. In the CHE survey, in addition to the general study situation, students also rated the transition to the Master's degree, the range of courses, supervision and support during their studies, digital teaching elements and the practical and research orientation in teaching - the latter shows, for example, the extent to which reference is made to current research results in the courses and the opportunity to carry out their own research activities as part of the courses.
In the field of economics at the University of Bayreuth, students appreciate the excellent support provided by lecturers, the close-knit support during their studies and the breadth of content on offer. Top marks were awarded for the individual subject focus in the degree course and the coordination of course content within modules. Bayreuth students also gave very high marks to the organization of the degree course, the transition from the Bachelor's to the Master's degree course and the research orientation - in particular the reference of courses to current research. The digital teaching elements and the practical orientation of teaching in the economics subjects also received very good ratings from the Bayreuth Master's students. They also appreciate the support they receive in preparing for their studies abroad and are very satisfied with the general study situation at the University of Bayreuth. According to them, it is very possible to complete the Master's degree in a reasonable amount of time. All in all: top marks for the Master's degree programs in economics at the University of Bayreuth!
